Hey Mums and Dads, are the kids nagging you with the ‘I’m bored, there’s nothing to do’ statement? Well the Perth Motorplex has a great entertainment option for you and the whole family, so what ever you do… Don’t miss the Speedway action long weekend on the 24th of January as The Great Caravan, Boat and Dunny Demo Derby returns to the party time of year. If last years tow along Demolition Derby is anything to go by we are in for total destruction, when over 20 of Perth’s worst drivers bash, crash and smash everything in their path for their share in huge $5,000 prize pool. Western Australia’s Number 1 Demolition Derby competitor Chris Guy is a marked man after being victorious in three Demo Derbies in a row and he proved his skill when he was the last car running in last summers Caravan, Boat and Dunny Demo Derby. But before all the mayhem of the Great Caravan, Boat and Dunny Demo Derby we will have a great night of Super Speedway action featuring Watsons Express Transport Sprintcars, Late Models, Super Sedans, Modified Sedans and Junior Sedans. This event will be the Sprintcar team’s last chance to get some racing laps on the high banked Perth Motorplex Speedway before next months Australian Sprintcar Championship at this very track. For the lovers of all things sedans the American based huge horsepower Late Models and Australian Super Sedans headline this portion of the program. A big nomination list is expected from both of Speedways elite Sedan categories. |
