| About the same time the Perth Motorplex opened in December
2000 (that is about 49 dog years) a stray dog was seen wandering the venue and no matter how hard we tried to shoo
him away - the mange ridden mutt kept returning. It became lore that the painful pooch belonged to the construction team who built the venue and when they had completed construction they left leaving behind the furry flea bag. The dog became known as Canada (we are not sure why?) and Canada became a regular at events - and for some unknown reason events where there were burnouts including Motorvation, the Good Friday Burnout King and the Burnout Masters. Recently the Perth Motorplex's official 'unofficial' mascot has been sniffing around the Perth Motorplex. The hairy hound has a nose for a great event - and that event is MOTORVATION |

 The kids love Canada, the girls don't mind him either...as long as he keeps his paws to himself - but he has not endeared himself to officialdom... |

 He certainly did not endear himself to the official Motorvation Towing company B Towed after he mistook the front tyre of one of the tow trucks for a tree! |

| Like any stray dog - Canada has worked his way into our (well some of us?) hearts and when you see Canada - you just know there is some tyre frying close by! | ||||||||||||||||||||||
