Synchronised Speedway ballet as Hamilton (rear) rides the wall. |
| There's little question it's been a stressful week for the Hy-Performance
Racing team following Kelvin Hamilton's crash during the Australian Speedcar Championship in Perth last weekend,
but it has also been a week of positive news regarding Kelvin's injuries and a week in which Kelvin and the team
have received a tremendous amount of support from family, friends and the Speedway community which has been greatly
appreciated. Kelvin remains in Perth Hospital with his wife Monic and family by his side and will be for some time, with visits to Kelvin still very limited as he begins his recuperation. On behalf of Kelvin and Monic, the Hy-Performance Racing wish to pass on their heart-felt thanks to the Perth Motorplex track safety and medical teams, the St Johns Ambulance, WA Speedway Chaplain Terry Dorrington, and of course the doctors and staff at both Fremantle Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital for their care and professional assistance following Kelvin's accident. The team would also like to thank the Western Australian Speedcar Drivers Association, the Qld Speedcar Racing Association, NASR, Gavin Migro and the Motorplex promotional and track teams and all the friends, fans and supporters of Speedway racing for their thoughts and well wishes during this time. |
