Mick Rainoldi has won the 2008 Hankook Tyres Burnout King in one of the toughest fields ever assembled.

Rainoldi received $2,000 in cash, a $2,000 voucher from Hankook Tyres plus the winners jacket, trophy and number plate.

However Rainolid did not have it all his own wau as the quality of those entered was outstanding with a Top 10 placing worthy of an all night celebration.

Nick Smith in JOBZ ON roared into second place after a routine that saw the 355 on the limiter from start to finish. Smith is still looking for the major prize given that this is his third runner up placing.

Third place went to Clint Di Giovanni driving Steve Moggs 'RUFFAZZ'. Moggs was unable to make the event due to work commitments and threw the keys to his mate - who promptly drove it like he stole it!

Motorvation 22 Champion Darran 'DIESEL" Williams came in at 4th place with Justin Wall in the CHOOK COOKER closing out the Top 5.

Michael Crawford, James Peos (NEMISIS), Brett McGowan (KAOS XD), Levi Dickson (HOON) and Ryan Humphrey (SIX POT) filled positions 6 to 10.

Mick Rainoldi was a happy camper collecting over $4,000 in cash and prizes.

Jayden Jones in JAYDO entertained the crowd with his flame show.

Nick Smith in JOBZ ON was second...again!

and Di Giovanni was third. (He drove is like it wasn't even his car...well it wasn't - Steve Moggs had to work so he threw Clint the keys!)

Looking for the Easter Bunny? We found him/her/it...all we know is that there were two bunnies in there and by the time CANADA got to clearing them out there were a whole lot more?!?!?!

Wild Mick was on fire...and we mean he was on FIRE!

Catching the fire bug was FEAR driven by Fred Watson...note the quick exit of passenger - Steve Sines of KINGER fame...he was the one doing the Nikki Lauder impersonation!

There was plenty of Cold Fire used...thankfully the Perth Motorplex can recharge the extinguishers and officials had to do an extinguisher run during the night....

The back lit effect showing off FEAR's flasho rims was clever...

The first ever tandem burnout on the Hankook Snakepit was a crowd favorite (WILD LH is playing up in the background).

The next major Burnout comp will be the annual Burnout Masters in October.
