The Pro Auto Performance Hi Tech Titles was held in glorious conditions with Queenslander Scotty Whieldon giving the West Australian fans something to talk about with a succession og sub 8 seconds passes within 2/1000s of his carreer best elapsed time while recording his best ever terminal speed at over 278kmh. Whieldon was not here for a holiday - he was here to do some racing, going several rounds in Compact Extreme before going down to eventual finalist Phil Purser.
