Diesel Williams was crowned Motorvation 22 Burnout Champio

Motorvation 22 has been run and won - and what a sensational event it was.

It was the tale of the two D's - Dicker and Diesel at Motorvation 22!

The Motorvation Grand Champion was Chris Dicker with his sweet HQ (pictured right) while Darren 'Diesel' Williams nudged out Steve Sines in 'Kinger' by a mere 1 point to take the Motorvation Burnout Champion title in a drama filled final on Sunday.

The Department of Defence bought Armygeddon to Perth...it not only does a good burnout...








It looks great too...a credit to the Army apprentices who maintain the vehicle in their own time.








The venue was full of sensational vehicles - from classics...








and rare iron...






To Street Rods....

The Turtle Wax ICE Elite Super Cruise and Driving events was a great place to check out some great machinery...








Aussie iron never looked as good...






FIRM III took part in the Motorvation 22 parade down St Georges terrace on Thursday - then the Turle Wax IXE Elite Super Cruise on Saturday...






The Turtle Wax ICE Elite Pavilion had a sensational variety of vehicles inside...





Great cars...and great displays...



David Bacchions electric blue HT Monaro caught the judges eye with the vivid clours picking up best Turtle Wax Ice Elite Pavilion display






The paint was great...the engines were great...and as for the interiors....

Speaking of paint - pictures do not do it justice...









Back to classic Aussie metal...


...and the US version took out the Radars.com.au Peoples Choice award.

The Grand Champion Chris Dicker scored well in the Turtle Wax ICE Show n Shine - then bought it home with a great showing in the driving events.








Wouldn't need such big hats if you had a roof!

The Late model boys were havin' fun too...

The Perth WRX Club won the championship for the 5th year running....

The Perth City Street Machine Club cruiser was very popular...

There was a trend on the weekend...and we couldn't quite put our finger on it...

....well a one tonner can be a truck...sorta....








...but this ute was the truck we liked best....




.George Separovich had a big weekend with two huge skids in BLOWN68...




















....and some burnout and Miss Motorvation Judging too...doesn't the stress show!








....but we think he and the judges got it right....

....but no manner of pleading would get past announcer Richie Howlett.....














....so Candida (Canada's sister we believe) just chilled out with the girls....






Brandon Mitchell had his own cheer squad...one even proposing marriage?!?!?!







Unfortunately Brandons tranny let go in a big way!






That started a trend with Wayne Smith exploding his radiator sending the grill flying...amazingly still making it into the Sunday finals...not only getting the car repaired...but making the Top 10!!!!






....Peter Gray decided to have a BBQ.....

When on fire you should go to higher ground...wait - thats for floods!








Greg Misciwicz was doing brilliantly....




...until he hit the wall - HARD! Thankfully Anthony Beguley took him home on the tray top for free...Fred Watson donated a brand ne front end and Pro Auto Performance have also chipped in to get Gregs car back on the road...well done guys!






Victorian Clint Ogilvie was sensational all weekend...note the colour coordinated poaint and exhaust! Now thats cool....






ARC EM UP in front of the huge Saturday night crowd...






Crazyman Justin Wall in the Chook Cooker nailing another Top 5 result...that is 4 events in a row! and all done without pushrods...amazing!




Wild Mick was having waaaay too much fun. The Wild Boyz picking up Best Club/Group presence. Musta been the pizza oven!






Mrs FEAR got to go for a ride in her significant others car...
