As if there wasn't already a heap of good reasons to attend the Magic Man...now we have US Speedcar ace Davy Ray confirmed to race this Saturday.

In the biggest news in the short history of Australia’s most prestigious Speedcar race The Magic Man 34 American Super star Davy Ray has confirmed his entry for the second staging of the nations highest paying to win Speedcar event.







Davy Ray is no stranger to the Perth Motorplex when he won the Australian Speedcar Championship last summer at the home of Western Australian Speedway racing.
Ray has left no stone unturned in his quest for the $12,000 first prize as he is armed with his amazingly fast and unique national championship winning V8 Synergy Kawasaki motor in the latest model New Zealand built Agressor Chassis for an all out assault on the Magic Man 34 Speedcar Spectacular.

Ray who hails from the US heartland town of Davenport Iowa is really looking forward to competing in the Magic Man 34 and renewing his acquaintances with the Perth Motorplex and knows that the quality field will be tough to beat on the high banked Kwinana Beach track.

Leading the charge of eastern states visitors in the Rinkin Motorsport pair of “Sydney towns” Mark Brown and his very able team mate Matt Young. Brown was victorious last summer in the inaugural Magic Man 34 and would love to be the only name on the prestigious perpetual trophy.

The local heroes have armed themselves with the best possible equipment for their battle in the nations blue ribbon event with Scott Glazebrook, Rick Geneve, Bunbury’s Michael ‘The Hammer’ Hamon, Keith Giles, Dene McAllan, Tom Watson and WA Champion Neville Lance, who is in a race against time to place a brand new American build Ford motor between the chassis rails of his new locally build Geoff Murphy special.
