More than 90 speedway teams have nominated for the final round of the FAST Racing Series at the Perth Motorplex this Saturday night.
An impressive 15 teams will contest the finale of the AJ Cochrane and Sons Formula 500s including Tom Hooper who has been one of the standout drivers in 2014-15.
Hooper won the track championship and the WA title, a great effort given he is still a relative newcomer to the sport.
He will be joined on track by Chris Dymock, Ryan Higgs, Gavin Connelly, Jai Dillon, Anthony King, Adrian Haywood, David Carstairs, Brett Janssen, Jeff Ross, Jeremy Saffin, Nick Bishop and Carl Phillips.
The stars of tomorrow are also expected to put on a good showing with 14 youngsters nominating for the Ellement Produce Junior Sedans.
WA1 Josh Fraser is part of the talented field that also includes Bronty Fraser, Cameron Alfirevich, Zachary Minshull (all the way from Broome), Isaac Arnold, Cody and Jake Avins, Travis Armstrong, Chantelle Bate, Jayke Malcolm, Mitchell Bosveld, Beau Doyle, Brooke Sutton and Jacob Potts.
Luch Monte is one of eight drivers to compete in the TW Mechanical 360 Sprintcars and will be on the track with Tyron Herbert, Daniel Salter, Sarah Zemunik, Mitchell Wormall, last-round winner Robert Watson junior, Shane Norris, Wade Randall and Jason Kendrick.
In the Limited Sprintcars racefans can expect to see Daryl Borgas, Brad Chapman, Marshall McDiarmid, Karl Magerl, Jason Craig, Brad Watson, Benny Migro, Darrin Francis, Anthony Dye and Tim Davis.
Newly-crowned WA champion Tom Payet heads up the 11 drivers in the Harris Engines Wingless Sprints.
Joining in on the action will be 10 Late Models, 7 V8 Dirt Modifieds, 8 Southside Engine Centre Street Stocks, and a handful of Production Sedans and Super 6 Sedans.
