MATTHEW Iwanow might have wrapped up the Harris Engines Wingless Sprints track championship for 2014-15 but there is still be plenty on the line when the final round is contested at the Perth Motorplex this Saturday night.
A very competitive Wingless Sprints field is expected to contest the FAST Racing Series Grand Final that will round out the season.
After finishing third to Brendon Wedge and Daniel Coleman in the penultimate round on April 26, Iwanow has more than enough points for season victory.

Heading into this weekend’s final Iwanow has 2823 points, well clear of Matt Vincent (2460), Brad Taylor (2457), Daniel Coleman (2283) and Steven Rice (2193).
Not only will the rest of the field be looking to finish as high up the championship order as possible but many of them will be chasing a win before the shutters come down on the current season.
So far 10 rounds have been contested here in 2014-15 with newly-crowned WA1 Tom Payet and Iwanow being multiple round winners.
Payet was in dominating form in February 7 and March 23 rounds for back-to-back victories and he will be gunning for another round win this weekend having already nominated.
Iwanow’s first round victory was in the Super Speedway round on January 3 and he backed this up with a win on April 4.
Other round winners so far have been former national champion Daniel Hartigan, Rice, Mick Wormall, Ashley Pittard, Matt Vincent and Wedge.
Who will take honours in the final round?
