He won the Christmas Cup at the Perth Motorplex on Saturday night from Jamie Maiolo and Brad Maiolo in a dominating round six drive.
The driver of the hit92.9 #11 started from pole and despite being challenged early on he was the standout driver and took the win by 2.124 seconds.
Jamie Maiolo started from P7 while Brad started from P6 and they stayed out of some incidents in front of them for another LJM Racing podium.
It’s been a great start to the season so far for the Maiolo crew with at least one of the drivers being on the podium at most events.
American-based Sydneysider Ian Madsen finished fourth in one of a couple of appearances in the Watsons Express #13 after starting from P15.
It was a great recovery for the professional racer who tipped over the machine in an earlier heat race.
Watsons team mate Ken Sartori started and finished fifth.
Lee Nash finished sixth (started 12th) ahead of Kye Scroop (started P11), Mitchell Wormall (from P20), Taylor Milling (from P13) and Scott Chatwin (from P17).
The terrible start to the season continued for Ryan Farrell who spun around on the first lap in an incident that put him, along with Corey Hunter and Shaun Bradford out of the show.
Daryl Clayden, who started on the front row with Kendrick, looked strong early, but it ultimately it counted for little after he rolled the #45 machine in turn two on lap 11.
David Priolo was a DNF two laps later, driving into the back of Madsen and then into the fence after Madsen executed a slide job in turn four.
Ben Ellement, who started from P4 and briefly hit the lead over Kendrick before settling into second, was out on lap 22 when he cut a tyre and limped to the infield and out of harm’s way.
Andrew Priolo hit the back straight fence and spun around with six laps remaining.
Callum Williamson put in a bold slide job on the last lap to claim a podium finish but was unable to make it stuck when he blew a left rear tyre in the process.

TW MECHANICAL 360 SPRINTCARS
ROBERT Watson junior moved his way forward at the business end of the race to claim the TW Mechanical 360 Sprintcar feature race.
Aldo De Paoli led for much of the race before Watson made a convincing pass to stretch the legs on the #66 machine and win by just over three seconds.
Speedcar senstation Kaiden Manders continues to impress in the 360 sprintcar competition and claimed another podium finish for third with Mitchell Wormall and Ben Van Ryt rounding out the top five.
It was a good night for Wormall who also finished eighth in the main sprintcar event.
There was plenty of drama in earlier events.
Rod Snellin and Luke Hughes came together in the first lap of the first race with both cars going upside down.
Later in that heat race there was also contact between Jamie Landrigan and Manders in pits bend.
The biggest incident of the night occurred in the third heat when Jake Beard-Miller attempted a slide job on Todd Davis, also in pits bend.
There wasn’t a lot of room for the pass with Beard-Miller running over the top of front of his rival before being catapulted into a series of violent barrel roles that saw him bounce off the front of Watson’s car.
Landrigan and Waters were also involved in separate incidents on the pits bend fence five laps into the feature race.

The brothers have been in dominant form in the division so far this summer and loom as major chances for the Australian title to be determined here in mid-January.
On this occasion Jamie won the 20-lapper, crossing the line half a second ahead of Kodee Brown while Warren was not that much further back in third.
